Zen on Elliott — Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Zen on Elliott, we genuinely love the time we spend with each of you, and every appointment is set aside just for you — our time, our space, and our care, held especially for your visit.

Over recent months, we've seen a growing number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows, particularly for our longer day spa appointments. These slots are very hard to fill again at short notice, and it has a real impact on our small clinic's ability to stay sustainable. It's with a heavy heart that we've made the decision to introduce the policy below — this isn't about being rigid or impersonal, it's simply about protecting the business so we can keep being here for all of our clients, long into the future.

Please know that if you ever have a genuine concern or something unexpected comes up, we are always happy to talk it through with you. We'd always rather have a conversation than a strict rule get in the way of your care.

Booking & Deposits

  • All appointments require a valid credit card on file at the time of booking.

  • Day spa and longer beauty appointments (90 minutes or longer) require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This applies specifically to our longer treatments — shorter appointments do not require a deposit.

  • Gift card bookings are treated the same as any other booking — a credit card is still required on file, and the same notice and no-show terms below apply. The gift card itself is only redeemed once you attend your appointment.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, we send reminders via SMS and email:

  • 72 hours prior to your appointment

  • 24 hours prior to your appointment

We hope these help you stay on top of your booking — but please still let us know as early as you can if your plans change, so we can offer your time to another client. You can manage your booking at any time in the Fresha app - it’s free to download.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

For day spa and longer beauty appointments (90 minutes or longer):

  • 7 or more days' cancellation notice: deposit fully refunded or transferred to a new date, no charge.

  • 3–6 days' notice: deposit is forfeited, or may be transferred once to a new booking within 30 days at our discretion.

  • Less than 48 hours' notice: deposit is forfeited and treated as a cancellation fee.

  • No-show: the full service fee will be charged to the card held on file.

For all other appointments (under 90 minutes):

  • Our existing policy continues to apply — we ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule without charge.

  • Cancellations inside 48 hours, or no-shows, may incur a fee at our discretion.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable for cash but may be transferred to another person with notice to us.

  • If a gift-card-funded day spa appointment is cancelled inside the notice window above, the applicable deposit will be deducted from the gift card balance.

  • If it's a no-show, the full service value will be deducted from the gift card balance.

We know life doesn't always go to plan. Illness, family emergencies, and unexpected events happen to all of us, and we will always consider these with warmth and flexibility. If you're ever worried about a fee, please just reach out — we'd rather look after you than enforce a policy for its own sake.

CHECK-IN:

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so you are able to complete any necessary paperwork. 

PRIVACY POLICY:

Throughout the course of your treatment we will collect personal information. This information is to be used for your treatment only, and if we need to contact you regarding appointments. We value your privacy and will not give your personal details to third parties.
